Tell us a little about yourself

I am a junior Wildlife Ecology major from Texas A&M University and will be commissioning into the USMC next year.

How did you get started with bodybuilding?

When I was 14 I got tired of being small.

Where does your motivation come from?

It’s mostly just routine now, with me liking the way I look being motivating some of the time.

What are some of your greatest achievements?

Being accepted to TAMU and receiving my USMC contract.

What is your current training philosophy?

Get heavier at the basics, such as squat.

What are 3 tips you would give to someone trying to reach their goal physique?

  1. Count calories
  2. Track your workouts.
  3. Be more disciplined than motivated.

What is your diet like? And does it differ on-season v. off-season?

Off-season with a show in mind- Track calories on the bulk and train for heavier weight. On-season cutting for a show- intermittent fasting and calorie tracking. full off-season w no show in mind- eat 2,000-3,000 calories and have fun in the gym.

When trying to cut down what type of cardio do you do and why?

Normal cardio. I typically run 15-30 miles in a week so i just use that as my cardio.

What is your next goal?

Pro Debut after this summer

What’s your Favorite Quote?

“Most folks are as happy as they make up their minds to be.” -Abraham Lincoln
