Tell us a little about yourself

I am a born again believer in Jesus Christ. I’m 34 years old. Originally born in Los Angeles, CA and currently residing in Houston, TX for the past 5 years

What is your occupation?

I currently do security full time. I am also a certified personal trainer & posing coach. I have coached 3 athletes to compete, one winning their pro status (NGA) and another becoming nationally qualified (NPC)

How did you get started with bodybuilding?

I originally just wanted to look good in my clothing and I wanted my body to match my big head (hahaha) But once I moved to Houston I was persuaded by other competitors to look into competing.

Where does your motivation come from?

Right now my motivation comes from my natural competitive nature.

What are some of your greatest achievements?

First becoming a Christian was my greatest achievement because I come from a dark past so for me to be able to live for God is an extremely great achievement. next I would say being a father to 2 young men, winning my pro status then winning my pro debut in the same year.

What is your current training philosophy?

Consistency is a must.

What are 3 tips you would give to someone trying to reach their goal physique?

  1. Focus on yourself: don’t get too stuck on someone else that it causes you to lose site of reality.
  2. Patience: Rome wasn’t built in one day so stay on course
  3. Consistent: stay consistent

What is your diet like? And does it differ on-season v. off-season?

My diet is pretty much the same except in the off season I eat a lot more.

What is your next goal?

My next goal as far as competition is to compete in the Poseidon classic to try to win back my title.

What’s your Favorite Quote?

“Know this my beloved brothers: let every person be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger.”- James 1:19
