Tell us a little about yourself….
I love training and pushing myself to always improve. I work in Human Resources for my day job. I enjoy being outdoors, and love animals
How did you get started with bodybuilding?
I started training with a bodybuilder when COVID hit, and I decided to give it a try.
Where does your motivation come from?
I love having a goal to work towards. The balance between seeing the results of the work I put in and striving to beat myself every competition is amazing.
What are some of your greatest achievements?
Competing is what I’m most proud of so far.
What is your current training philosophy?
Eat clean, train dirty, and listen to your trainer
What are 3 tips you would give to someone trying to reach their goal physique?
Find a trainer/coach you trust, that has proven results. Be patient – real results take time. Then trust the process.
What is your diet like? And does it differ on-season v. off-season?
During prep season I typically stick to carb cycling, and eat clean as much as possible. My body loves carbs, so once I shed I can increase carbs again for the rest of the season. Off season is quite different – high carbs and higher fat all the time!
When trying to cut down what type of cardio do you do and why?
I alternate between the stationary bike, stair climber, and incline walk on the treadmill. This allows me to get different movements while keeping low impact on my joints.
What is your next goal?
Continue to improve, and bring a better package every time I get on stage.
